A project on a shore home we recently completed! Our customer was having some dry rot issues so we repaired the vaulted ceilings and painted, installed gable vents to stop the dead air issue that caused the ceilings to fail, cut out a hole in the wall next to the closet and installed an Opening and custom door to access the closet shelves, did some rot/framing/trim/drywall repair on a section of wall downstairs, on the new fiberglass deck they just had put in we did away with the existing exterior doors due to them allowing water in and installed a custom full-lite glass thermatru smooth-star fibreglass door with internal blinds and framesaver jambs and brickmould with a slope-sill door pan to ensure the water stays out! Recently we replaced a failing roof on one of our customers pool sheds, tore off the old shingles installed new drip edge, GAF synthetic felt buster underlayment and some crisp GAF Timberline HDZ lifetime shingles in charcoal!

Do you have any peeling,chipping paint & drywall on your ceilings and walls ? If so you might have a ventilation issue a lot of older houses built back before the 70s used solid wooden soffits and no ridge vents and relied upon gable vents on the gable end walls of your attic for ventilation, like this home here it seems that many siders these days will cover these gable vents up when transitioning from cedar siding to vinyl with the only form of ventilation being deleted you end up with what we call “dead air” which is air and moisture that have no way out and can also create “rain in the attic” which is not water from outside getting in but stagnant moisture evaporating up to the roof sheathing then drips back down making it appear as if you have a leak. It’s very important to have proper ventilation for numerous reasons including keeping mold and mildew out of your home, keeping your HVAC units from running overtime and as mentioned above stale air that can cause dry rot to your ceilings walls and entire roofing system! Luckily this customer called us as soon as they noticed the issue and we were able to diagnose there was no leak just a ventilation issue so we installed two 12x24 Royal PVC gable vents in each gable end of the house and replaced any damaged Sheetrock and re-taped finished and painted! Recently we had a customer who had tons of kayaks laying around for family outings and was having trouble storing them neatly, so we drew up some plans for a easily accessible storage rack that had a simple decorative touch to it! The client was more than happy with how it worked and loved the aesthetic even more!

Here’s a project we finished over the winter for one of our valued clients new home! Renovated dead space in the garage and built a custom mud room locker, cabinets with a storage wall for the family to store their coats and sports gear, Also renovated the laundry room with custom 21st century base and 42” wall cabinets complete with a folding counter, hanging rail, Gold hardware and sink! last but not least we installed a red oak handrail with black hardware on the stairs. Our client had a great vision of what she wanted and we brought it to life, they were thrilled with the finished product and so we’re we!
