Here ya go Mama. You wanted some pics... This job has really helped me know where I need to grow on so many levels. I'm so glad there were times the kids could chip in (even though I'm the first to run them off most days). I remember the feeling as an 7 year old running around on one of Pawpaw's jobs... My mom, Ash and the kids, my cousin, and a friend have all put in work on this one and I'm pretty proud of it! I've taken some steps in the right direction and really given this thing to God. I depend on Him to lead us as we grow this family business in the right direction.

Beard Remodeling lost a good one today... My Pawpaw, my hero, Durwood Beard has left this life for the next. He's the motivation for my choice in business, my home base for 36 years, and the best man I know. If you knew him, you know he had a presence. He will be greatly missed...
I ask for patience concerning work as we get through this next week or so. Honestly, I just cant wrap my head around work.
I owe the job my best and I know right now I'm not at the top of my game. Mom and I will be back at it soon enough, but right now we are taking some time to process our situation.
Thank you for your understanding and prayer as we deal with this loss.

Do you still remember exactly where you were when you heard? We all huddled around our TVs and watched as the second plane flew in. We all prayed as the buildings fell. We waited for days as they pulled people from the rubble... We came together as a country, but more so as humans. We cared for one another. For a while we weren't black or white- we were Americans.
