Like last year, with many in our city living in challenging circumstances, we chose to make a contribution to JOIN. JOIN supports the efforts of homeless individuals and families to transition out of homelessness into permanent housing. Their efforts are directed at individuals sleeping outside or in their car in the Portland Metro area. This year our staff contributed gifts that will help make the holidays better for two families. So many people are coming together to help those affected by the Camp Fire and we are lucky to have one of our own headed to California with the Oregon Humane Society team! Our HR Manager, Malyia, is one of four people headed to California to assist with animals in need. Wishing her and the OHS team a successful trip!
