We are thrilled to host the Portland Rose Society this Saturday in our new retail store, to allow them to share their knowledge and experience with our community. 🌹
The Portland Rose Society has been dedicated to growing and showing the best roses for over 100 years, and their work is seen in the Washington Park International Rose Test Garden’s Gold Medal Garden and in their education contributions and renown rose shows.

The Free Rose Information and Pruning Demonstration will be held from 11am-1pm at the new Means Nursery Garden Store this Saturday, May 30th.

Also, starting today and while supplies last, enjoy 4” geraniums originally $3.29 at 5 for $10!

Among the year’s first flush of rose blooms, check out our selection of rose fertilizers - including the Portland Rose Society Fertilizer, developed by the passionate hosts of tomorrow’s event!

The Portland Rose Society is hosting a free Rose Pruning and Information Demonstration this Saturday, May 30th, from 11am-1pm at the Means Nursery Garden Store.

We have something NEW in store for you 🌱

The Means Nursery Garden Store is moving VERY soon to a new, convenient location on Havlik Drive in Scappoose - near Bi-Mart, Fultano’s Pizza, and Fred Meyer.

Once we move, our current location will be closed. We will continue to update you through social media and our email newsletter the details on when we’ve officially moved. If unsure, you can check in on our website or give us a call!

We are so excited to experience this new chapter with you all, and although the store will be bigger, we will still be the same family-run nursery you’ve come to love through the decades. 🌿
