Project Update | Library Café and Draper Road Provisions | Framing Progress

At the Library Café and Draper Road Provisions, framing is well underway. Walls are up, rooms are taking shape, and you can finally feel how the space is going to flow. This is the stage where a set of plans turns into something real, and it’s always fun to watch.

Still in the early stages, but this project is moving exactly how we want it to. More updates soon as things start getting closed in!

Big milestone to start 2026 for our commercial team! We’ve officially been awarded the framing contract on the Library Cafe and Provisions project coming to downtown Blacksburg VA in 2026.

Grateful for the trust and excited to get to work putting the bones in place. Even better, additional scopes are currently under consideration, and we’re looking forward to continuing the conversation as the project moves forward.

Full Time Positions:

Residential Construction Manager – Full-Time

- 8+ years of ground up residential experience preferred
- Lead residential projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with crews, clients, and subcontractors
- Ensure high quality standards and timely completion

Part Time Positions:

General & Skilled Laborer – Part-Time (with the ability to transition to Full-Time)

-Hands-on work in both residential and commercial projects
-Opportunity to grow within the company
-Construction experience preferred but not required for General Laborer
-minimum 1 year construction experience to be considered Skilled Laborer

Harris Hale Construction is proud to announce the successful completion of both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of our camp renovation project with Shah Development.

🔨 Phase 1: Replaced 16 decks across 16 individual cabins, improving safety, longevity, and the overall guest experience.

🏗️ Phase 2: Delivered upgrades to the camp’s multi-level main facility, including extensive stair and deck work, enhancing both function and aesthetics.

From start to finish, our crews showed up with professionalism, precision, and pride in their craft. We’re incredibly grateful to Shah Development for the trust and partnership, and we look forward to more successful collaborations ahead!
