From Frustrated Search to Dream Home: A Sotheby's Success Story

The Sotheby's network is renowned for connecting buyers and sellers across the globe. In this instance, it brought together Landmark Sotheby’s International Baldhead Island office (.van_ness), California based buyers yearning to return to their home state and Hodge and Kittrell Sotheby's International Realty. Partnering with my colleague .realtor, I connected with the clients in February to begin their land search.

We were immediately drawn to a property, then an expired listing. Soil reports indicated it might deter developers due to cost and septic limitations. However, reaching terms with the sellers proved challenging at the time.

Throughout the summer, we persevered. I scoured Chatham County GIS, contacted landowners directly, and left no stone unturned. While we encountered possibilities, nothing matched my clients' vision for Olives Chapel.

Surveying the work today. These sandbags are enormous and will eventually replenish the beach in a natural and sustainable way. They will accept marine growth around them and be safe for families to play on. Happy National Daughter's Day to my mini who loves pink but also prefers to play with emergency vehicles and perform doctor exams on her stuffed animals (like Bob Ross). She is so lovable and kind, and has already told me that the world is a big place, and "we have to help people grow up strong." I want to be more like her and love watching her grow into herself.

These days, when Joe is working hard on our lake house, my twin and I head over to our favorite Char Grill for lunch. Today, we met the team from Station 14, who happily gave this firetruck obsessed girl a tour of the truck. She was so excited to meet a female firefighter too and ask the team if they "climbed the ladder to save a kitty cat from tree."
