Important Announcement: Music in the Park Canceled This Week

The decision has been made to cancel this week’s Music in the Park. As always, the weather forecast is unpredictable, and with two groups traveling from a distance, we want to prioritize everyone’s safety and comfort.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you next week in the park for performances by Michael Sean and the Adell Girl Scouts!

Calling all vendors! If you’re interested in displaying/selling your products during the 2025 Music in the Park season, please contact me at [email protected]. The season is every Thursday from May 29th through August 28th (excluding July 3rd). We ask that the vendors be set up by 5 and stay throughout the event. Looking forward to a wonderful season.

While you’re at Music In The Park tonight, be on the look out for Heather, selling Dippin Goods dips. Heather lives in Germantown with her husband and two teenage sons. She began selling dips at vendor markets in 2018 to supplement her income as a full time special education teacher. All the products are MSG and gluten free, and are made right here in WI or in the Midwest. The unique thing about this product is that it can also be sold as a fundraiser! I would like you to meet these young entrepreneurs! They began their business in 2023 after their mom bought a freeze dryer to make healthy snacks. As a homeschool project, they wanted to explore sublimation, and found out that science is pretty cool when you freeze dry candy! They started making candy for friends and family and then got so many requests that they began to sell their items at markets. It has now become a lesson on economics as well. They are learning to make wise business decisions and use a checkbook. Their parents are their employees! Their mom says it is a lot of fun to watch them work together, and to figure out the best techniques to process their candy! They will be at Music in the Park tomorrow night, so make sure that you stop by their booth and support these young entrepreneurs!
