Next project underway… The Pine Grove Project!

This beautiful timber-frame mountain home in the Neck Yoke area south of Rapid City was just hankering for a refresh.

We’re adding a circular driveway with a center landscape island, a natural flagstone walkway, fresh rock beds, Aspen trees, and automatic drip irrigation to it all.

And we always ❤️ working for clients who proudly fly the Red, White & Blue. 🇺🇸

Got the crew fueled up with donuts and drinks this morning, because by the end of today this whole place is going to feel completely different. There’s just something about fresh green grass that makes a house finally feel like home.

First impressions matter.

We wrapped up this chunky natural stone rock bed using rugged Storm Mountain aggregate and hand-placed Gold Creek boulders to give this home a landscape that feels grounded in the Black Hills from day one…. something that feels like it belongs here, not something that was simply “installed.”

This is just the beginning for this property, but the foundation is looking solid already 👌

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Bluegrass Landscape Company. 🌹

Today we’re celebrating the mothers, grandmothers, wives, and women who hold families together with strength, grace, patience, and love. The ones who make a house feel like home and somehow keep everything moving, even when nobody notices all the little things they do.

We hope you get a chance to slow down today, put your feet up, and feel appreciated for all the care you pour into the people around you.

Starting a fresh one in the beautiful Hart Ranch West area, just south of Rapid City 🏔️

This new construction site is a blank canvas, and we’ve got a big vision for it. We’re starting from the ground up with precision grading and stormwater management. From there, we’ll layer in:

🚿 Custom sprinkler system
🪨 Natural stone accents and rock beds
🌲 Ornamental trees and native plantings
⛲ Custom front entry water feature

Stay tuned for updates. This one is going to be a great transformation 🛠️✨

The previous wall should have lasted forever. As good as it looks now, the money could have been spent on something a bit more fun. Do it right friends!
