I've been building custom showers and tiling baths for years, so I finally had to test out the Schluter Kerdi system.
The first video shows the process of installing the system.
The second video showers the test after holding water for two weeks.
As you can see, the Kerdi membrane has no leaks after two weeks.
Obviously showers are meant to wick water into drains, not hold water.
