Meet AMY TANGORRA, our co-founder and head of design! Amy has spent more than 25 years in the design-build world, with a focus on interior architecture, kitchen and bath design, and a specialty in aging-in-place. Lauded for her creativity in solving complex space issues, Amy’s sense of humor and quick wit also make her a favorite to work with among clients. Mom to college freshman Luca, Amy spends her free time vintage hunting (come see the collection at our High Street studio!), traveling (particularly long hikes in Italy with her bestie), and looking for her socks (which her Golden Retriever, Ripple, has stolen). During demo at our Harvard Street project, our team got a big surprise. The American Civil War-era home was built using “crib construction,” a method that involved pancake-stacking wood to create strong, insulated walls. It was a first for our team, and a particular delight for the carpenters among us!
