I have the best mom I could have asked for… even when when we’ve had differing perspectives she’s been unconditionally loving, always willing to lend an ear at times when I needed to talk through my feelings. Yesterday my brother and I celebrated Mother’s Day with her a week early as we won’t be able to be there in person on Sunday May 10th. This is a little nudge to remind you to do something special for your mom or in memory of her.

It was a sad day for our beautiful red farm truck last Monday. Engine fire 🔥 on the way home from picking up lumber to rebuild the greenhouse. Thankfully a couple passers by handed Ramson their fire extinguishers so he slowed it down before the whole vehicle was engulfed. I wasn’t there but it was pretty stressful for Ramson. He did a great job in the moment. The fire truck arrived to finish it off and said normally the whole vehicle burns, his fast action made the difference but it’s clearly seen it’s last day 😢

We keep fire extinguishers in our main vehicles, since wildfires have become the norm in our area but there wasn’t one in the truck that day. It’s a good reminder to everyone. Keep a fire extinguisher in your car, it can make a big difference.

Grateful for all the lavender harvests this truck has made possible. The last photo is Ramson celebrating our last load of lavender headed to be distilled last September.

The crystal lavender rose smudge sticks are officially cured and ready for your rituals. Limited supply as I can only make them when the plants are in the correct stage of bloom and I only half as many this year as I have in past years. A handful went home with beautiful people at yesterday. Now they’re available on my Etsy.
