Experience original songs, old-time influences, and the joy of music created simply for the love of playing.

Growing up in the bluegrass and old-time music traditions of Floyd, Virginia, this sibling Americana/indie-folk duo blends intricate harmonies with virtuosic instrumentation. Their debut album Longtime Friend reflects a heartfelt fusion of traditional Appalachian roots with contemporary folk and indie sensibilities — music that feels both timeless and fresh.

SUMMER LOADING.

Good food, good music, and good times all summer long at Modern Homestead.

We're kicking off the season with a lineup of memorable events, beginning with a dinner inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's iconic Fallingwater on June 7 (SOLD OUT), followed by an evening of Americana soul music with The Wildmans on June 23 and our annual Hydrangea Dinner on July 16.

The Garden Center is open daily and stocked with a beautiful selection of annuals, herbs, fruit plants, and more. On weekends, stop by the café for handcrafted espresso drinks and freshly baked pastries.

Our Cozy Dinner menus are now posted through August, and reservations are filling quickly.

We look forward to spending the summer with you.
