Whether you're a seasoned green thumb or a curious newcomer to backyard gardening, have a passion for cooking or a strong appetite for this much-loved crop, you're invited to come enjoy the bounty of the harvest this July. Come dig in and discover what's growing in Reno! Festivities will include locally grown garlic and produce for sale from participating backyard growers and established regional

farms, a garlic-based food feast from local chefs, garlic medicinals, gardening advice, plus kid-friendly activities, games, and live music! We can't wait to see you this July, and hope to inspire you to plant your own garlic seed in October! Reno Garlic Fest Goals:

-Build community and strengthen neighborhood ties
-Showcase local foods
-Support local farmers
-Encourage more Reno-ites to grow vegetable and other foods
-Educate community members about sustainable growing practices for our region
-Have FUN!

When the harvest comes in (mid July-early August) you can get your garlic fix from Prema Farms Desert Farming Initiative Reno Food Systems ands more.
