Over the course of the last few weeks I finally gave our bedroom a much needed makeover.
It all started with a screaming deal on a bedroom set that a client was selling because they were upgrading to a newer bedroom set.
Fast forward to now after also buying a new chester drawers, new wall texture and paint, closet dividers, closet doors, trim and window trim, new carpet and repainted ceiling fan, and blackout curtains, we just spent our first night in our new bedroom. It feels like we’re in a different house. This is going to take some time to get used to. Funny thing, we both stumbled around in the dark trying to find the door when we had to get up in the night. I used to have everything memorized in the dark, but everything has moved now. I’m sure we will have a few bruises until we get it figured out.

It seems like the tile wasn't properly back buttered and waterproofed, but don't worry I'm here to fix the problem and it made salvaging the tile a breeze, thanks for the assist. Luckily I only had to replace the bottom section of shower.

Do you like mountain biking or hiking in the local mountains around Rexburg? If so, the local trail alliance is approved to build 4 more miles of trail this Fall in the area southeast of Rexburg that will be similar to the Cranky Cowboy trail. If we are going to get these new trails built, we need to get going now. This coming Labor Day weekend they really need help to clear brush and downfall for the new trail that will replace the trail known as “Cabin Climb” on Trailforks app.

A couple of weeks ago six of us got about 1/2 the new trail brushed out. We need to finish clearing it this weekend so we can bring in the Trail Cat on the weekend of September 7th to build the trail. I would be grateful to anyone that can commit to working from 9:00 to 2:00 on Saturday or Sunday. Please bring your own water and lunch. Please respond in the comments or message me in Messenger if you are willing to commit to either day. If you need directions to the trailhead, please send me your phone number in Messenger and I will call you and give you directions.

Personal Protective Equipment-Must always be worn when working.

1. Eye protection/ Safety Glasses

2. Hearing protection (if near equipment and power tools)

3. Saw Chaps or protective saw pants (if running a Chainsaw or swamping for a Sawyer).

4. Pants- NO shorts will be allowed

5. Gloves

6. Over the ankle boots

7. Long sleeve shirt

8. Hardhat- as needed around equipment and chainsaw work.

If you think you know how to install tile, and you don’t back-butter your tile, it will pop and come up just like this. So, please get educated and learn how to do it right so I don’t have to come and redo it.

We fixed this garage door opening. It originally had rock around it, but I guess it wasn’t holding up. We squared up the openings, fixed the siding and installed new metal wraps around the door openings.
