In an exciting turn of events, we've welcomed Exceptional Scott back to the team this week! It's been an eventful week as our spring season is now in full swing and everyone (including Exceptional Ninja) is happy to have him back on the job sites! Looking forward to the upcoming season of projects!

This little powder room was long overdue for an update, as it is one of the most used spaces in this home. Anyone who lived through the 80's/90's is probably very familiar with the original wallpaper-bordered theme, but in addition to dating the space, it also made it feel small and dark-not an ideal setting for a room most used as a hair/makeup station. Updates included a custom modern vanity and wall cabinetry, open shelving, sleek tile and a lighted mirror along with fun vanity lights. The space is now chic and inviting for guests as well as more functional for the residents.

We checked the schedule—nothing’s late,
Of course it’s tight… Dan set the pace.
Coffee’s strong, production’s on,
He’s already solved three problems by dawn.

He spots a crooked stud from down the hall,
Catches the detail before it can fall.
Budgets sharp, standards high—
“Do it right” is his battle cry.

But beyond the bids and jobsite plans,
He builds people—not just spans.
Integrity first, relationships true—
That’s the standard he sets for all of us too.

Exceptional Ninja wants to remind everyone that walking under ladders and stepping on cracks are far worse luck than she is today. Stay safe out there!

Today we feature another tiny 70's era primary bathroom, although the before of this bathroom felt even smaller than usual due to the imposing soffits and dark paint color. The homeowner was begging for more usable space and we obliged, removing the soffits, expanding the shower as far as possible, installing a new modern vanity and lighted, mirrored medicine cabinet. Classic white subway tile, coordinating LVT flooring and a light gray paint make the room appear brighter and more spacious, as well as creating a modern finish. We wrapped up the bulk of the work just in time for the homeowner to enjoy her new space over the holidays (and for years to come)!
