🚨 Is your garage door getting louder than it used to be?
Many homeowners don't realize that the small wheels on the sides of the garage door, called rollers, have a big impact on how smoothly and quietly the door operates.
In this repair, we found worn steel rollers and a loose track bracket that contributed to the door coming off track. We secured the track and upgraded the old steel rollers to 7" nylon rollers.
What's the difference?
"Steel rollers" can become noisy over time, creating a clanking or grinding sound every time the garage door opens and closes. They can also rust and wear down faster.
"Nylon rollers" are much quieter because they reduce vibration and don't create metal-on-metal contact. They also last much longer, resist rust, and help the garage door move more smoothly.
A simple roller upgrade can make your garage door quieter, smoother, and help prevent future problems.
