Most people think this is “coastal style.”

It’s not.

What you’re seeing here isn’t just color palettes and shutters—it’s a home designed to perform in a coastal environment.

From the rooflines and overhangs…
to the material selections…
to how the indoor and outdoor spaces actually live together…

Every decision is intentional.

Coastal architecture isn’t about chasing a look.
It’s about responding to climate, light, durability, and how people truly live in these spaces.

When you get that right, the aesthetic follows.

And it feels effortless.

The modern home office is no longer a secondary space—it’s a statement of how we choose to work and live.

This environment was designed to balance function and presence. Volume, natural light, and clean lines create clarity. Integrated lighting and acoustics support focus. A dedicated workspace—separate, intentional—allows for productivity without sacrificing the comfort of home.

What’s most powerful is the flexibility. Spaces like this adapt seamlessly—client meetings, creative work, collaboration, or quiet concentration—all within a setting that feels grounded and personal.

Working remotely isn’t just about convenience. It’s about designing an environment that elevates performance and enhances quality of life.

When done right, a home office doesn’t feel like an addition—it feels essential.

Before it’s built… it’s experienced.

Architectural renderings bring a design to life—capturing the light, materials, and feeling of a space before a single board is cut.

It’s more than just a pretty image—it’s clarity, confidence, and alignment for everyone involved.

This is where vision becomes real.

We just received final ARB approval for this thoughtful transformation in Colleton River, Bluffton, SC.

This renovation reimagines the home through a more modern shingle-style lens—balancing timeless coastal character with cleaner, more intentional detailing.

We introduced shake cladding, refined trim profiles, and bracketed awnings to add depth and rhythm to the front elevation, while strengthening the entry sequence to create a clearer sense of arrival.

On the rear, the focus shifts to livability—expanding the outdoor living experience with layered porches, screened spaces, and a seamless connection to the pool and landscape. The result is a home that lives as well as it looks.

Complete with all new windows, updated materials, and a cohesive exterior palette, this project reflects what we value most in renovation work: clarity, proportion, and unlocking potential.

Check out the existing photo of the front compared to our rendering of the proposed design changes. It will be quite the transformation.

Builder + Team collaboration always makes the difference on projects like this.

We’re excited to share that we are the Architect for one of Hilton Head Island’s newest dining destinations, recently featured in the Island Packet.

Designing restaurants is always about more than the building — it’s about shaping the experience. From the first arrival moment to the last seat at the bar, every detail is intended to reflect the energy, story, and flavor this concept will bring to our community.

Hilton Head continues to raise the bar for food, hospitality, and design, and we’re proud to help create spaces that become part of that cultural fabric.

Stay tuned as this vision comes to life.

A third restaurant is coming to the scenic Broad Creek Marina, with recipes curated by the same chef who created the menu for Nectar Farm Kitchen.

Attached dwelling units—often called carriage houses or ADUs—are one of the most strategic additions you can make to a primary residence. They quietly solve multiple life-stage needs while strengthening the long-term value of a property.

This attached carriage house was designed as a fully independent living space above a three-car garage, with its own private entrance, modern coastal architecture, generous glazing, and a covered balcony for outdoor living. The form is contemporary yet timeless—vertical siding, clean rooflines, and restrained detailing that integrates seamlessly with the main residence while maintaining its own identity.
