We are a small family owned and operated greenhouse plant shop that’s run from our property in the middle of the desert in Arizona. We water all our plants with rain water captured during monsoon season! We may be crazy for deciding the run a plant shop in the hottest / driest state in the desert with no water, but we just love plants so much, we make it work! Our founder Kimberly has always had a

love for plants and the outdoors ever since she was a kid. She grew up with a Mom and Grandma who had big vegetable and rose gardens. Her love for houseplants exploded, into what some could call an obsession, in late 2021. It wasn’t until 2023 when she decided she wanted to share her love of plants with others and start her own greenhouse plant shop. Thank you for being here and supporting our little family shop!

Thought I should introduce myself!
👋🏼 Hi, my name is Kimberly. I am the founder and owner of Bohemian Desert Co.!

I run BDCo. from my property here in the middle of the Arizona desert, with the help of my Husband and 5 dogs.

We are a very small shop. When I say small, I mean small… we have no running water. We water all our plants with rain water captured during monsoon season! We may be crazy for deciding the run a plant shop in the hottest / driest state in the desert with no water, but we just love plants so much, we make it work!

When I’m not playing with plants I’m hanging with my pups, off-roading in the desert with my Hubs, adventuring, hiking, and running.

This photo was actually taken after a 6 hour timed running race here in Arizona where it got to be 106° while running!

I thought about taking a cute photo with a plant like everyone else, but I hate taking photos of myself, so we are just keeping it real over here! 😜🪴
