Tennessee State Rib Championship Recap!

We had a GREAT time, per usual, at the Tennessee State Rib Championship yesterday! Another fun weekend doing what we love, surrounded by some tough competition and great people!

We’re thankful for another successful cook and especially grateful to have made even more new friends along the way. That’s one of the best parts of BBQ!

Most of all, thank God for a fun and safe weekend and safe travels there and back. We are truly blessed to get to do this together.

🔥 Up In Smoke BBQ is in Franklin, Tennessee! 🔥

🏆🔥 GRAND CHAMPIONS!! 🔥🏆

What a weekend in Chaffee, Missouri! Up in Smoke BBQ brought home our FIRST-EVER GRAND CHAMPION today, and we couldn’t be more excited or grateful!

We had a heck of a weekend:
🔥 3rd & 9th Place – Wings
🐷 4th Place – Baby Back Ribs
🔥 5th Place – Spare Ribs
🏆 GRAND CHAMPION!

The competition was TOUGH, which makes this win even sweeter. We met so many great people, made some new friends, and had an absolute blast doing what we love.

Above all, we are beyond blessed and give God all the glory. None of this would be possible without Him and all the people who support and encourage us along the way.

A huge shoutout to Ryan with Smokin Brothers, Inc. and Bob with Gateway Drum Smokers for putting on an amazing Rib Cook Off Association event. Y’all knocked it out of the park!

🔥 UP IN SMOKE BBQ IS ON LOCATION! 🔥

We made it to Chaffee, Missouri for the Main Street Smokin’ on the Rails BBQ Contest! 🚂🔥🐷

This weekend is a DOUBLE Rib & Wing Competition, and we’re ready to get that smoke rolling! 💨

🍗 Tonight: We’re turning in some smokin’ hot wings!
🍗 Tomorrow: We’ll do it all over again with another round of wings!
🍖 And of course… RIBS tomorrow!

🔥 Up In Smoke BBQ is getting some practice in! 🔥

We put some ribs and wings on the smoker this past weekend and got in some much-needed practice. 🐖🔥🍗

We’ve got several competitions coming up, so we’re dialing in our cook, working on those flavors, and getting everything ready to bring our A-game! 💪
