I am really enjoying wall patches now that I have done 20 or so. Still, getting the texture right is proving difficult. I will be trying a different spray next time. Before and after pictures. It can take 3 or 4 visits with all of the drying involved.

I now understand why plumbers don't patch up after they hack at your drywall. It can quickly get complicated.

Take this example.
First is cutting the hole a little larger to make it square and expose studs. Next is a lot of measurements to cut the replacement piece.

There are 4 parts sticking out of the wall, so the new drywall must go in as 2 pieces. Slots are cut [measure twice] for the pipe and material has to be carefully cut away from the back side to make space for the brackets and screws that would cause the drywall to stick way out.

Usually I enjoy the challenge, but not so much when it forces me to purchase a new tool.

I was out prepping a shed for paint in the wee hours of the morning when some wildlife appeared.

What animal would you rather come across instead of a skunk? I think I'd be less bothered to see a wolf.

Just finished a 35ft trench to lay new electrical line. 40 inches deep!

I am going around town Monday morning gathering up junk to go to the landfill including concrete and pressure treated lumber. Something like a recliner is going to be $30 to take. A toilet [empty] is $30 as well. Old ceiling fan is $15 with the blades taken off. Let me know if you need something gone.
