This was so pretty but creepy at the same time! I was outside our truck and heard some flapping. Looked up and thought, “Wow, that’s a lot of crows.” 🐦‍⬛ I’m also 44 and probably part blind. Upon further inspection… They were vultures, y’all. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a lover of all creatures. If we didn’t have these guys it would stink from all the roadkill and dead stuff and we are actually lucky to have natures crime scene cleaners! But when I looked up and saw all of those- instant flashback of Alfred Hitchcock’s, The Birds. That movie taught me that one bird is cute but 300 birds can kill you 😂

Hello, friends… It’s been quiet here.… My family lost our very own Tinker Bell. I’ve tried to make this post on my personal page but I come up short each time.
She was magical. So sweet and soft but also bright and loud in such a beautiful way. Like a little fairy just humming along to her own beat. If you knew her, you were blessed with all the love she had. She gave that love to anyone she encountered. She was a beautiful mama too, just not mine. She was the best aunt any girl could ask for in life. She could always sense when I was down and she would call me at the most perfect time. She would help pick me up and dust me off. After those calls, I felt shiny and new. She was a true healer of your spirit.
Almost a year ago she left me a long message on my phone telling me she did our numbers and we were in for BIG changes “My Little Gemini”. I could have never guessed that big change would include you leaving this world. You didn’t tell me I’d never hear you say “Leeshy, my sweets” again. I wasn’t ready!!
Now I sit here in the quiet trying to make sense of life. How did 6 months turn into 3 weeks. I had a bag full of questions we never got to open. Why does the sky look less bright now? It feels different. It’s like the ending a beautiful book that you didn’t want to end, it should still have more chapters.. There should have been a world wide moment of silence for you. But there wasn’t. The world kept spinning…
So for now, I’ll sit here in the quiet and re-read the story until we meet again. Go over all the chapters again. Remembering your light that gave away to anyone. Knowing you live in these chapters will give me a tiny bit of peace. I love you forever! I miss you already!

Tomorrow I’ll be making some bulk soil mix for my tropicals that will be getting repotted very soon! I’m going to teach you how to make your own soil mix. It’s less expensive and your plants will love you for it! I’ll also have a list of all the products I’ll be using and if I can figure it out, I’ll link the products. See you tomorrow, friends!!

What are you doing today, friends? I made some bread for my husband! Except that blueberry/lemon loaf, that’s for me!! I only cut open the strawberries and cream but she’s dreamy inside!! This will be my last bread for a minute….
I’m making way for all the plant projects I have in store this summer! I have lots 🫣. I also have 73,647 things I have to get done before my daughter graduation. I’m also wrapping up my son’s 8th grade year (I homeschool him) which is actually pretty easy since I’m like the best teacher/principal 👩‍🏫 combo ever. Just saying…
I will be returning to the witchy bread life around fall… but until then, I’ll just be the speaker of the trees. Or Fern Gully as my neighbor refers to me…
