To combat mildew problems, use a mixture of baking soda and water (3 Tbs.per 32ozs. ) and spray your plants ....use once a week or if you have a big mildew problem, spray every few days.

When you prune, remember wherever you cut its going to branch from that spot .....so, if you are trying to reduce the size or block something out, cut accordingly.

Use ladybugs for your pest control this summer ....super easy to apply → just open the packet! They can be bought at local garden centers or on the internet.

slugs are going to be a big problem this spring/summer ....we are using Sluggo brand slug bait ....apply once every 3 weeks ...its organic and safe to use around pets

remember when you take your houseplants out for the summer DONT let them get sunburned ....they are just like us in that regard !

we are using black hose cut into "snake lengths " as a deterrent to rabbits ....seems to be working

be sure to cover your tender plants ....even if they dont get frost /freeze damage the cold will still slow them WAY down ....also , make sure you uncover them before the sun heats them up
