Poovi Art

Poovi Art Poovi Art is a contemporary art practice by visual artist Poonam Choudhary, focused on abstract expressionism and mixed-media exploration.

The work investigates form, texture, and spatial relationships, creating a dialogue between materiality and emotion. Poovi Art reflects an evolving contemporary language informed by process, intuition, and minimal aesthetics. Through contrasting colors and intersecting forms, Poovi Art balances chaos and order, nature and abstraction. Working with high-quality acrylics, Poonam creates multilayered

compositions that evoke movement, depth, and transformative energy. Her process embraces the interplay of control and surrender, allowing each piece to unfold organically and intuitively. Her art invites viewers into a space of reflection, capturing the delicate equilibrium between the fleeting present and the infinite. Celebrated internationally through prestigious exhibitions and art fairs, Poovi Art bridges fine art and functional design, leaving a lasting impression on collectors and audiences worldwide. Some cities you visit.
Some cities stay inside you. 🏙️✨

A skyline caught between chaos and calm—electric blues, deep indigos, flashes of crimson and gold moving around stark white architecture.

I didn’t want to paint the city exactly as it looks.
I wanted to paint how it feels.

Fast. Loud. Beautiful. Unpredictable. Alive.

And somewhere beneath all that movement, a reflection—almost like the city is dreaming of itself.

Would you hang this cityscape in your space? ✨

Where the city ends, color takes over. ✨🏙️

A skyline rising through a storm of indigo, electric blue, crimson, and gold—where sharp architectural forms meet the beautiful unpredictability of movement.

The white silhouettes stand almost weightless against the chaos, while their reflections dissolve into a dreamlike world below. Structure meets spontaneity. Stillness meets energy. Reality meets imagination.

For me, this piece isn’t about painting a city exactly as it looks—it’s about capturing how a city feels: alive, restless, luminous, and constantly moving.

A familiar skyline, transformed into something almost celestial. ✨

POV: you’re seeing it before it becomes the finished piece. 👀🎨

New work in progress.
A new commission taking shape.
Paint everywhere. Ideas everywhere.
And honestly… this is my favorite part. 🤍

The messy middle. The layers that may disappear. The moments when I have no idea where the painting is going—until suddenly, it knows.

A little behind the scenes from my studio lately… ✨

Which WIP are you most curious to see finished?

✨ BEHIND THE SCENES ✨

New work in progress, layers slowly coming to life… and a new commission taking shape in the studio. 🤍

This is the part of the process I love—the unfinished layers, the experiments, the changes, and those little unexpected moments that eventually become part of the final piece.

Nothing is complete yet… but there’s something beautiful about seeing an idea find its way onto the canvas.

New work. New commission. New stories unfolding. 🎨✨

A little glimpse of what’s happening behind the scenes at Poovi Art.

✨ SOLD | “Stay Together” ✨

So happy to share that Stay Together has found its new home through Artfinder 🤍

This piece is more than a painting—it’s a little world created to live together. A 30 × 30” resin artwork with a 3D wall clock, paired with its own hand-painted side table, created to carry the same colors, movement, and story beyond the canvas.

Every layer was completely handmade—from the flowing resin to the dimensional details and coordinating table.

There’s something especially meaningful about seeing a piece I created with my hands become part of someone else’s space. ✨

Thank you to my collector for choosing my work and supporting original art. ❤️

There was so much I kept holding onto…
people, expectations, unanswered questions,
and things I thought I needed to understand.

At every turn, I felt like
I had to hold everything together.

Then one day, a quiet thought came to me…

I didn’t come into this world by my own choice.
You sent me here…
so maybe I was never meant to carry it all alone. 🤍

Since then, I’m learning to loosen my grip.

What is meant for me, let it find me.
What is leaving, let it go.
And on the roads I cannot see,
just hold my hand and guide me.

I’ll keep doing my part,
but I don’t want to carry the weight of every outcome anymore.

Take me where I’m meant to go…
I surrender myself to You. 🕊️

Maybe that’s what surrender really is—

the steps are mine,
but the path is Yours. ✨

✨ Where darkness meets light.

Deep obsidian blacks collide with radiant gold, warm ochre, and burnt sienna—creating a composition that moves between chaos and order, strength and delicacy, shadow and illumination.

Layers of rough texture, fluid marks, and intricate web-like details reveal themselves slowly, while metallic accents shift with the light and bring the surface to life.

For me, abstraction is often about finding beauty within contrast—the quiet balance that exists even when everything feels beautifully imperfect. ✨

What do you see in these layers?
