While there are still more furniture and design changes on the horizon, the foundation is set: a functional, inviting loft customized just for these book lovers. My client almost canceled our session because they didn’t think this was “in scope.” Spoiler alert: it totally is! 🛠️✨

We’ve been making incredible progress decluttering this home, but when the flooring timeline moved up, we had to pivot fast. This closet had been a dumping ground for years—and even a makeshift office for the last six months.

After prepping two bedrooms and the loft, I dove into the deep end here to sort and purge years of history while clearing the way. Organizing a lived-in home isn’t linear, and sometimes a “forced” clearing for a renovation is exactly the reset a space needs. I can’t wait to reimagine what this closet becomes once the new floors are in! 🌿

From “clutter catch-all” to a professional headquarters. ✨
The goal for this project was to create a space that felt welcoming enough for my client to host her own professional sessions at home. By decluttering the “piles of life”—forgotten mail, children’s memorabilia, and years of mixed business paperwork—we were able to say goodbye to her rented commercial space for good!

As an empty nester with multiple businesses, she needed a simplified environment that could pivot as quickly as she does. We still have a few systems to finalize and furniture pieces to add, but she’s already hosted her first in-home client!

I’m so excited to see her gain this new momentum. When your environment is organized, your business has room to grow!

Is this your pantry or are you just happy to see me? 😉

When the pantry reaches this stage, it means two things: wasted money on forgotten food, and daily frustration. Our mission is to restore sanity and function!

But the best part? I’m absolutely loving working with this family! Their personality is infectious and it makes tackling even this massive job feel like fun.

This is officially the BEFORE shot of their pantry! We’ve already completed purging the rest of their kitchen and have saved this for last. With two massive purging sessions done (we’re talking multiple trash bags 🗑️), my goal is to finish the last purge today before the real organizing work begins.

When Your PERFECT System Becomes the Problem... 😅

As a mom of two littles, I share the struggle: keeping up with rapid size changes, hand-me-downs, and seasonal attire is a constant organization challenge!

Swipe past the first photo to see what worked BEFORE baby #2 arrived (Image 2). This system—with all bins strictly sorted by size up top, big sis’s clothes on the left, and baby’s on the right—was functional and organized.

BUT, fast forward to today (Image 1, the video/first photo): The current flow is chaotic. Juggling two active sizes plus hand-me-down inventory has made that initial system obsolete. Now, the struggle is real as I try to stay on top of all the outlier items!

These types of resets are necessary with growing families. I’m implementing a slightly new, more flexible system designed for two moving targets.

Whoops... Did I just spend two hours here? 😅 Judging by this cart, the answer is YES!

is my ultimate happy place—where I can fully disconnect and geek out on maximizing every inch of a space. It’s an organizer’s dream come true!

But listen: a great solution doesn’t always need a fancy label! I’ll never discredit the potential of a good repurposed box, those random empty phone boxes we all keep, or those unexpected wins at ! 🏆

Being able to channel this creative energy, put my ideas into action, and help clients transform their homes from clutter to calm is the BEST feeling. I love what I do!
