PSA TO EVERYONE WHO HAS PLACED AN ORDER WITH US SO FAR!!!!!!!!
ANYONE THAT HAS ALREADY PAID, or pays before Sunday, will have their orders shipped on MONDAY OCT 16th, 2023 VIA FEDEX INSTEAD OF USPS!!!!!
I apologize to everyone for the current delay!
DELAYS Due to:
-my own misunderstanding of how long it would take me to pick out the plants for each order, pick out extra surprise plants for each order, deciding between which boxes to use, reorganizing each order to fit perfectly, with plenty of extra padding to prevent ANY issues should the package be mishandled
-our local small town post office having “when we feel like it” hours lol
-AND my own personal anxiety about someone’s happy mail likely getting stuck in a HOT or even a super cold warehouse somewhere across the US, for the entire weekend…..
SOOOO I did not ship anyone’s orders out today, nor will I ship any plants tomorrow.
I’ve read at least 100 posts this week in many of the sales groups with people being upset because their plants arrived super late, arrived completely dead, got lost, one person is fighting with USPS for an insurance claim because their box supposedly got “damaged” and they THREW HER PLANTS AWAY!!!!or just flat out getting the run around from the carrier about when their plants are supposed to arrive…….Annnnnd theeeeeeeen
………This morning I received a message from a wonderful friend(who also owns a nursery and sells plants regularly) let me know that USPS is having quite a few shipping delays, and issues right now……….aaaaannnnnnnnd theeeeeeen
……On top of that, I PERSONALLY have had SEVERAL issues with my local USPS post office, ie; holding packages for no reason, not delivered due to fear of dogs, broken items, packages getting lost or showing up WEEKS LATE, and have had my own packages delivered to the wrong address on multiple occasions 😡🫠🧐
Because of all these reasons, I would MUCH RATHER, unpack everything and keep everyone’s plants safe, healthy, watered and under bright lights over the weekend, than take the risk of something happening!!!
