Over thirty five years of being and avid fisherman and loving all the tricks that come into tricking fish into biting has lead me to start my own old school tackle business. Nothing I find more enjoying than teaching people how to fish and how to use the tools to catch them. also a way to always be involved in the sport when the dreams of being a full time fisherman seem so out of reach.

We had 20 Teams on the water.
Chad Harvey & Ethan Ryan took the win with 15.08lbs paying $800.

They also had the evening’s Big Bass a 5.51LM paying $320

2nd place was Jim Darling & Seth Furmanek weighing 13.22lbs paying $540.

Tai Au & Doc David took the Goon pot of $220 with a 1.69 White Bass

3rd Place was Dylan Maxon & Kevin Macdonald weighing 11.57lbs paying $380.

Chad Harvey & Ethan Ryan took the win with 14.04lbs paying $980.

Marcie & Charley Bentley had the evening’s Big Bass a 5.06LM paying $420.

2nd place was Shane Edgar & Jake Domres weighing 13.99 paying $650. They also took the Goon pot of $300 with a 2.49 Flathead catfish.

3rd Place was Brian & Caleb Petko weighing 12.62 paying $440.

The Southwest Summer Slam Series is presented by Cutting Edge Glass & Mirror. We had 28 teams fishing at Lake Pleasant on June 6th a night tournament.

Congratulations to our first place team of Sam & Cat Collins weighing 13.25lbs and paying $1220 They also had 2nd Super Bass weighing a 4.60LM ($200)

The 2nd place team was Jordan & Tori Schwartzkopf weighing 12.57lbs paying $900.

Dan & Brycen Acosta weighed 12.44lbs paying $660. good for 3rd place.

Big Bass went to Gerrad & Tanner Barcom weighing a 6.83LM paying $620 in combined Regular and SuperBass $ plus the CEG big Bass Decal on their boat ($50)with a combined payout of $1130.

Wednesday Nighters kick off next week June 3rd. Pleasant Harbor at Lake Pleasant. We will be setup in the dirt behind the bathrooms at South Ramp.

Come out to Lake Pleasant on Wednesday nights in June and July for a fun night of fishing against friends. There are no points issued for these events. The entry fee is $160 per team. The payback is 1 in 5. $100 goes to place money and $20 to the Big Bass pot. Two Big Bass spots are paid after 20 Boats. The events run from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Boats 1-15 are due in at 10pm. Boats 16-30 are due in at 10:15. We will also have a goon fish option for $20 that is 100% payback. Each team can weigh one goon fish if entered in this option. This series does not require a membership, and is open to all anglers. Text or call Lyle at 623.565.6523
