With the holidays now behind me, I have started painting new items and got out the porcelain clay to start forming new pieces. Pictures to follow.

Had a great time yesterday at the Leander Arts and Craft show, met some wonderful people and ate some great food. Only down side to the day was the blasted wind. Good thing that I don't listen to the weather person, because they were wrong. Working on ornaments and other items, getting ready for the rest of the month worth of shows. Almost have the larger kiln filled then I can fire and start working on filling the smaller one.

Just finished wrapping up an order for 4 out of 5 bells, have ordered more bells so I can finish the other one. Fired the kiln again, doing some dicroic glass on porcelain, can't wait to see what it will look like, then I get to figure out a design to paint on them. I think I will add some fiberglass texture to some other pieces and fire them hopefully this evening. Makes for a cool design.

I have been very remiss in posting activities here for which I do apoligize. I plan to do better. Did a show yesterday at the Hairy Man Festival in Round Rock and the venue was well attended. This was the first time that I have done this festival and did pretty well considering that we were at the end of the Arts and Craft line. Before I do another show though, I need to get my canopy repaired - had some of the "outer frame supports" snap in two and I noticed a few others are starting to go. Of course it didn't help that it went flying about a year ago and bent it. And yes, I did have it weighted down. It was a wonder that no one got hurt or that nothing else broke.

Have the kiln going and should be able to look at the stuff tomorrow afternoon. Should have pictures to post soon.

I have been painting new items and finishing up others, should have enough to fire the kiln tomorrow and then post new pictures. I always post here first before putting the items on my website. See something that you are interested in, let me know.
