Sucked down the trap of comparing myself to what others are producing right now on their flower farm. Then it’s just a downward spiral from there 🤪
Reminding myself that this business I created has taken all the twists and turns and that I need to learn to follow where I feel the most pull. The fact that I got to create summer containers for over 15 different businesses and residents although the flower farm took the back burner is absolutely crazy!
I started with one resident and one business in 2024. Crazy what has happened since 😊 Special shout-out-thanks to these people who trusted me with their containers!
Rush City VFW, Clean Haven Shop, Flickabirds, Frandsen Bank in Braham, Rush Printing, The Garage Bar and Grill, The Flower Box, Encore Nursing Home, Hairdo or Dye, Village Apartments, Terrie, Carol, Eunice, Alecia, Nancy, Jody, Erin, Brianna and Jorie! You guys have trusted me and/or worked through my growing pains and I can’t thank you enough!
Planting containers for others is something I hope to expand on in the future as it’s been so fun to get creative. Next year, I think I’m going to skip buying all wholesale and get bigger and fuller plants from the get-go from my favorite local greenhouse . It will help clients see the vision right away versus convincing them sun and heat are our best friends 😅 I’m, also, not cut out to manage over 500 plants at once and keep two kids alive on top of that 😂 Get to learn new things each year!
