Our work van had some visitors this morning. I was walking out to put some paper in the to be burnt bin and there they were. It was amazing to see.
Two red birds landed one on the front and one on the back of our work van, as to say here are some blessings for you. I am grateful for the support and encouragement and beauty that they bring. They say it’s a good sign for a red bird to visit you.

My thoughts. Ice is not your outside heat pumps friend. It breaks fan blades and locks up motors. Emergency heat is your friend in these temperatures. Yes it uses more electricity power. Yes your bill will be higher. If the electricity goes out, unless you have a wood, gas, kerosene or other heat source then you have no heat. Heat pumps and electric heat work great most of the time. But with these temperatures they may not stop running or not for long anyway.
Just be grateful you are warm and pray for others out there that may need prayers throughout this miserable weather. Like emergency personnel and others we take for granted.
