FIX IT FORWARD FAMILY ❤️🔧

So… it’s my birthday week. 🎉

And honestly? This year I don’t really want presents, gadgets, tools, or another shirt I’ll accidentally get paint on within 14 minutes 🤣

What I want is to help more people.

That’s it.

Fix It Forward was built because too many families are quietly living with unsafe steps, leaking roofs, broken floors, electrical hazards, collapsing porches, no ramps, no heat, and no real way to fix it. And the truth is… a lot of good people are one emergency away from drowning.

We’ve already helped several families together as a community, and every single donation — big or small — genuinely matters.

If you’ve ever wanted to help someone but didn’t know how… this is your chance.

Instead of birthday gifts this year, I’m asking for donations to Fix It Forward so we can keep showing up for people who need hope, safety, and a reminder that they matter.

You can donate here:
https://www.freefunder.com/campaign/fix-it-forward

Or text:
FIX-IT-FORWARD to 206-672-7222

And if you can’t donate right now?
Pray for the families we help.
Tell someone they matter.
That counts too.

43 years old this week… and I can honestly say helping people alongside my family, my crew, this community, and God has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

Let’s do some good together. ❤️

FIX IT FORWARD JUST GOT A LITTLE EASIER ❤️🔨⚡️

Alright yall… we officially added a TEXT TO DONATE option for Fix It Forward! 😭🔥

One of the biggest questions we get is:
“How can we help?”

Well now it’s simple.

📱 Text FIX-IT-FORWARD to 206-672-7222 to donate directly and help us continue helping families in our community.

Every dollar goes toward helping people who are overwhelmed, struggling, elderly, disabled, single parents, or just flat out trying to survive while something in their home falls apart.

This whole thing started because we saw too many people living with unsafe conditions and feeling like nobody cared enough to help.

And yall… YOU have changed lives already.

You helped us move mailboxes for elderly homeowners.
You helped us handle emergency repairs.
You helped families feel seen again.
You helped remind people they are NOT alone.

That matters more than you know.

And before anybody says it — no, this isn’t about “being heroes.” It’s about neighbors helping neighbors the way God intended community to work.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2 ❤️

If you can donate — amazing.
If you can share the post — amazing.
If you need help — PLEASE reach out.

And to every local business owner reading this:
Imagine what would happen if we ALL donated a little time, labor, or skill to help people around us. This community would become unstoppable.

Also for transparency:
Fix It Forward donations help cover materials, emergency repairs, and sometimes specialized tools needed to complete projects safely and correctly.

Thank yall for believing in this crazy dream with us. Seriously.

And as always, if you need anything at all – work related or not – do not hesitate to reach out. Whether you know Jesus or not, I’m always here. The world is better with you in it.

I’m gonna be real with y’all for a minute.

Fix It Forward is growing faster than I ever imagined…which is incredible, but it also means the need is very, very real.

Every week we are getting messages from elderly people, single parents, disabled folks, veterans, and families that simply cannot afford critical repairs. Leaks. Unsafe steps. Electrical hazards. No hot water. Rotted floors. Things most people would consider emergencies…they’re just living with because they feel stuck.

And I’ll be honest — sometimes I sit there staring at these messages wishing I could say yes to every single one immediately.

That’s why I’m asking for help.

Not for me.
Not for profit.
Not for attention.

For them.

Fix It Forward was built on one simple idea:
If enough good people each carry a tiny piece of the burden, nobody has to carry the whole thing alone.

Maybe you can donate.
Maybe you can share this.
Maybe you own a business and can donate materials, labor, or time.
Maybe you just pray for us.

But if this mission speaks to you at all, I’m asking you to help us keep this thing moving forward.

Because right now there are people in our own communities choosing between repairs and groceries. And that doesn’t sit right with me.

📖 “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.” — Proverbs 19:17

And as always — if you are someone in serious need of help, please reach out anyway. Even if you cannot donate. Even if you’re embarrassed. Even if you think your situation isn’t “bad enough.” We will do everything we can to help.

I need y’all’s help tonight.

I just had a woman reach out asking for something so small most people wouldn’t even think twice about it…just a few deck boards so she can try to repair her deck herself because it’s literally falling apart.

She didn’t ask for labor.
Didn’t ask for money.
Didn’t ask for a handout.

Just boards.

And that’s the part that gets me.

There are GOOD people out here trying. People swallowing their pride just trying to make things safe for their families one piece at a time. And the truth is…those requests are starting to come in more and more.

That’s why Fix It Forward matters.

But I’m gonna be real with y’all — we NEED donations to keep helping people. Materials cost money. Lumber isn’t cheap. Hardware isn’t cheap. Fuel isn’t cheap. And every dollar that comes in goes right back out into helping somebody in this community.

I don’t want this to become one of those “great idea that faded away” things.

I want this to become something REAL.
Something LOCAL.
Something that actually changes lives.

If this mission means something to you…if you believe people shouldn’t have to live with unsafe stairs, leaking roofs, broken plumbing, dangerous wiring, collapsing decks, or homes falling apart around them…please consider donating.

Even small donations matter. Seriously.

$5 adds up.
$10 adds up.
Shares add up.
PRAYERS add up.

And to every person supporting this mission already…thank you. You’re helping prove this world still has good people in it.

Alright y’all, quick update on Fix It Forward…

We’re moving. Maybe not as fast as I’d like—but we’re moving.

I’ve been working behind the scenes getting everything lined up to file for the 501(c)(3). Paperwork, structure, making sure this thing is built the right way so it lasts and actually helps people long term. It’s coming together… just takes time, and yeah—everything costs something.

But here’s the part that’s been heavy on my mind…

The list is growing.

Not in a bad way—but in a real way.

Families reaching out. Situations coming in. Things that aren’t just “inconvenient”… they’re unsafe. Water issues. Electrical issues. Stuff people are just living with because they don’t have another option.

And me and my wife? We’re not wired to sit on that.

So we’re stacking them up. Lining them up. Figuring out how to hit them one by one, as fast as we can.

Some we’ve already handled.
Some we’re about to jump into.
And some… we’re just waiting for the green light to go.

This thing is growing into something bigger than I think either of us expected.

Not a business. Not a side project.

A way to take care of people the way it should be done.

If you’ve been watching this unfold, sharing posts, encouraging us, or even just paying attention… just know you’re already part of it.

And we’re not slowing down.

Hey y’all ❤️

I’m gonna shoot it to you straight this morning.

We’ve got a pretty big Fix It Forward job coming up, and right now—we don’t have enough donations to cover it.

But let me be clear about one thing…

It’s getting done.

I don’t care if it comes out of my pocket, my time, or my weekends with my family—we’re not leaving this family in a bad situation. That’s just not how we operate.

My wife and I have been pushing hard trying to build this thing the right way. Not for attention, not for credit—but because people need help, and sometimes they don’t have anywhere else to turn.

And here’s the truth about what we’re doing…

We don’t just help customers—we create new family members.

Once we show up for you, you’re ours. You matter to us. And we don’t walk away from family.

I’ll keep going. I’ll keep showing up. I’ll keep figuring it out.

But I won’t lie to you either—there are more families waiting. More homes that aren’t safe yet. And I can only move so fast on my own.

That’s where y’all come in.

If you’ve ever thought about donating, sharing, or just helping push this mission forward—this is one of those moments where it actually matters. Even the small stuff adds up fast.

We’re building something bigger than just repairs… we’re building a community that takes care of its own.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9

We’re not giving up.

Not on this family.
Not on the next one.
Not on this mission.

Let’s fix it forward—together ❤️

Yesterday we wrapped our first Fix It Forward project.

And I’ve been thinking about it…

That wasn’t just one job.
That was proof that this works.

There are people all around us living with things that just aren’t safe—stairs that aren’t secure, outlets that aren’t right, things that could hurt someone… and they just don’t have the means to fix it.

That’s what this is about.

Not handouts.
Not shortcuts.
Just making homes safer for people who need it most.

We’re just getting started.

If you’ve been watching and thinking about getting involved—this is your sign:

* Share the page
* Tell someone who might need help
* Or support it however you can

Because the more this grows…
the more homes we can make safe.

“Let us not grow weary of doing good…” – Galatians 6:9

This is bigger than one project.
Let’s keep it going.

If you’re local, share this—you never know who needs help or who’s in a position to give it.

As always, if you need anything at all—work related or not—do not hesitate to reach out. Whether you know Jesus or not, I’m always here.

Today is a big day.

Fix It Forward officially starts its first job.

This isn’t just about fixing things—it’s about stepping into homes where people have been carrying problems they shouldn’t have to carry alone. Things get put off, ignored, or simply can’t be afforded… and over time, those “little things” turn into real problems.

That’s where this comes in.

Fix It Forward exists to help neighbors who are stuck between what needs to be fixed and what they can actually afford. No one should have to live with unsafe or broken conditions because of that gap.

This isn’t a handout. It’s a hand up.
It’s people coming together to take care of people.

And today—we get to do that for the very first time.

If you want to follow along, support, or be part of what we’re building:
https://dot.cards/fixitforward?s=qrs&e=cXItTjlFZHlwMUlCRg

And this right here is the heart behind it all:

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2

We weren’t meant to do life alone. We’re meant to show up for each other.

**Seriously—**as always, if you need anything at all – work related or not – do not hesitate to reach out. Whether you know Jesus or not, I’m always here. The world is better with you in it.

Safe homes for those who need it
