Did you know you should clean your pool filters anytime your pressure is at 18 psi or more? Generally this is twice a year fall and spring. This increases with bathing load.

Skipping filter cleanings can cause unnecessary wear on your filter tank, murky water, green water, and all sorts of algae you do not want!
