Only 46 days until Spring! Been busy propagating bamboo some new varieties of clumping bamboo, “Green Stripestem” Bamboo and “Asian Lemon Bamboo,” as well as some familiar varieties.

While I wish for more rain and snow, I have taken full advantage of the sunny days lately. 🌞🌱🌱

About 10 years ago, I had the unique pleasure, to visit, the National Zoo in Washington D.C., early in the morning when it first opened, to see a Giant Panda Bear chomping on bamboo for breakfast, with no people around me, just him, me and the sound of him eating his breakfast. Truly amazing!

Was bummed to see a few years later to see the Giant Panda no longer at the National Zoo, but so awesome to see this magnificent creature returning to the San Diego Zoo! 🎋🎋🎋🐼
