Our shelter is completely out of space - to save lives all adult dogs will be free to adopt now through June 21st! Every day, more dogs arrive as strays while many of our amazing dogs continue waiting day after day for families.

Whether you're looking for a hiking buddy, couch companion, running partner, or family dog, we have dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities waiting to meet you. Every dog goes home spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adult dogs are 6 months and older.

🎆 Fireworks Season Is Almost Here — Let's Keep Our Pets Safe! 🐾

The Fourth of July is only a couple of weeks away, and while many of us enjoy celebrating, it can be one of the most stressful times of the year for our pets.

Every year, local shelters and social media groups are flooded with reports of lost dogs and cats that became frightened by fireworks and escaped their homes or yards.

A few things you can do now:

✅ Make sure collars and ID tags are up to date

✅ Verify that your pet's microchip information is current

✅ Check gates, fences, and latches for any areas where a scared pet could escape

✅ Create a safe, quiet space inside your home before the fireworks begin

✅ If your pet struggles with anxiety, contact your veterinarian now to discuss options. As we get closer to the holiday, appointment availability and medications can become harder to obtain.

A little preparation today can prevent a heartbreaking situation later.
