The patio overlooking my sweet little yard has been serving as my work station while my back yard cottage is in transition with a renovation. With the weather cooperating, it's been a wonderful peaceful place to work. Somehow over the years this garden has unfolded into a place that I love and cherish. It's where I conduct my workshops and classes with inspired gatherings and where I entertain family, friends and neighbors on the spur of the moment. Its been a wonderful home to random backyard friends, birds, squirrels a random crane or two and a turkey friend too . I love that it feels like a garden party where everyone is invited. It holds memories of children's birthday parties, my husband taking a nap on the chase and friends dancing into the night under the stars. I hear laughter and in my minds eye I see all of our sweet four legged family roamiming about all of who have passed over the rainbow bridge. Life goes on and my garden will continue to evole with more plants on occasion, workshops and classes where we can't help but laugh out loud and smile inside. Gracie and Chloe now roam about along with 3 stray cats and a possum or two at night. My son is home from Australia for a while now and I hear the music of the guitar playing on the upper terrce around dusk. It's lovely. I have been out of town for five days and look forward to being back at my work station on the patio over looking my garden and seeing backyard friends again.
