Phase one is complete at Armijo High School!

This first phase of our campus beautification project brings new life to the space — replacing old shrubs and grass with vibrant plants in a refreshed raised planter, adding a secondary lower planter, and installing new artificial turf to support the high-pedestrian-traffic area.

We were honored to attend the Carmichael Park Ribbon Cutting Event a few weeks ago. MTWgroup proudly contributed to the park’s Measure G–funded bond projects, which included a new tot playground, outdoor restrooms, pickleball courts, accessible pathways, and the first phase of pavement replacement.

We were proud to celebrate the La Sierra Community Center Ribbon Cutting with the Carmichael Recreation and Park District this past January!

As part of the Measure G bond, the La Sierra Community Center received brand new canopy roofing as well as HVAC upgrades to the 600 Wing and John Smith Hall—an exciting milestone that strengthens the district’s commitment to enhancing community spaces.

And we’re just getting started. Progress continues not only at La Sierra, but across parks throughout the District. Stay tuned—more updates are on the way!

Transforming campus space through thoughtful landscape design.

At UC Davis Health, MTWgroup helped shape the landscape for a major new classroom facility—creating a central plaza designed to support learning, connection, and future growth.

The space features a bold, patterned concrete plaza and an amphitheater that doubles as an outdoor classroom, extending learning beyond the building walls. Strategic circulation, lighting, and security considerations ensure the plaza remains safe, intuitive, and welcoming—day and night.

With a master plan in place for future expansion, this project was designed not just for today’s campus needs, but for what comes next.
