er in a large Sacramento firm for many years prior to starting her own company. To ensure her direct and active involvement with each project – from inception to completion – she has intentionally limited the growth of the firm. Remaining small allows us to provide better communication, more flexibility, and, ultimately, better service to our clients. We are able to respond quickly and thoroughly. We become a reliable and valuable resource. Much of our client base is composed of repeat and referred clients. We also utilize long-established relationships with a select group of outside consultants upon whose services and expertise we know we can rely. Our current staff is small to be able to personally assist you on each project. Our staff has comprehensive experience with a wide variety of public and private sector commercial projects, including countless tenant and leasehold improvements. Each of our staff members has been with the firm for a minimum of four years. We provide all architectural services, including but not limited to, site analysis, pre-design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, cost estimating, energy compliance, bidding services, and contract administration. We have learned to work effectively with the appropriate municipal agencies at all levels, and we know how to interface with them to obtain a building permit. M+A utilizes the appropriate digital technologies and can provide information in a variety of formats, including those required by the City. We can provide computer-generated drawings (CADD), 3-Dimensional (3D) computer drawings, interior and exterior walkthroughs, color renderings, and/or traditional hand sketches. Among the programs currently utilized are AutoCAD 2012, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, PageMaker, Publisher, Power Point, Excel, and Word. We commit our full attention to each of our clients, we are accustomed to working simultaneously with multiple repeat clients. In fact, we prefer working with clients on a continuous basis because this allows us a broader understanding of their overall vision and a greater ability to sustain their vision through the design and construction process. In turn, our clients benefit because they have a frame of reference for time and cost on previous similar projects. Over the years, our process has been fine-tuned to achieve the desired results, while developing strong working relationships that are beneficial to all parties. In this economy, M+A’s workload is such that our current team can meet nearly any “immediate” need of a project. We also realize that our clients’ priorities can change at any time, and M+A has the flexibility to change with them. For example, should the Client’s require an expedited schedule, we can easily accommodate this need by bringing in additional proven team member familiar with our procedures to assist in accommodating this deadline.
