Busy weekend in the shop with a few custom orders in the works! A really beefy 18x12 brick pattern cutting board at 2” thick, and a very cool mahogany and walnut address plaque. Also playing with a little epoxy for a nice 24” charcuterie board! Stay tuned for some final product photos over the next few weeks!

Been a while since I dropped an update. Haven’t been able to spend a lot of time in the shop due to, well, life. But was excited to get out a little bit today. Waiting on some supply to come in for a custom order so figured I would finish up a couple of new multi-species boards. Showing a few of the final steps. During the sanding process, I do a “water pop” of the grain. Spraying it with water and allowing it to dry brings any broken fibers to the surface. Then sanding with a fine grain makes for a much smoother and more durable finished product. Then everyone’s favorite part, the oil! Can’t wait to get this one uploaded in a few weeks after everything has cured!
