Starting a new project and need electricity?

It may be a good idea to consult with your contractors beforehand!

In this case, the home owners had installed foam insulation before getting electric wired in their basement. We were, however, able to work around it, and successfully ran electricity into the basement!

The identity of the conductor will be covered up, however, this is a good way to check/verify the circuit before the drywall goes on!

Labeling wires also makes future repairs/maintenance easier, to identify wires once the issues are diagnosed.

In making your choice of materials be certain it is installed per the National Electrical Code

Electrical equipment should be installed in a neat and workmanlike manner.

This means conductors should be organized, connections properly torqued, and everything securely mounted.

Installations should follow best practices—no loose or hanging wires, messy junction boxes, or crooked devices. Using a laser level insures straight and level receptacles!
