Last year we refinished the cabinets and updated the hardware the only thing left to do in the kitchen was update the countertop and backsplash. This project is not for the faint of heart, its a lot of hard work but the results are beautiful and well worth the hard work.

We had dilemma with the ceiling in our dining room. The previous owners who did the drywall didn't install it correctly and we had cracks that ran the entire length of the room. There was nothing structural that was happening, just bad installation so we thought making some beams to put up there was the way to go. We decided to use the main crack as our starting point for one of the beams and work our way out from the there. The end result is really beautiful.

Can be made any size and any color. We had a bunch of odd sized windows and it was very easy for Joel to create custom shutters. They made the front and back windows look more finished.

All done, time to stain.

We had a dark color on the cabinets, mismatched handles and hinges. Made the kitchen look dated and not very inviting. The cabinets were all in great shape so we decided on giving them a facelift with paint and add some new hardware. It took a few weeks and it was a lot of work but the results were awesome. The kitchen is now white and bright and gives it an overall cleaner look.
