We cleaned up, removed weeds, and put in some decorative rock. We also took out an old, broken flagstone walkway and laid new sod. We fixed up the existing walkway with mortar where it was needed, and we added an extra paved area for the grill.

This showcases the before and after of a backyard transformation. The property previously experienced water runoff directly towards the house due to its hillside location. We addressed this by excavating multiple layers of rock and soil to ensure proper drainage below the weep holes of the brick foundation. This involved re-establishing the grade to direct water away from the foundation and creating a swale around the house, channeling water to the side and then to the front street. Additionally, an Versa-Lok retaining wall was installed, complemented by new plantings, mulch, sod, and stepping stones to provide access to the side yard walk.
