I may’ve forgotten the after pictures this time — even the best captains miss a snapshot now and then!

Had a new client reach out in need of a good mow after their last crew sailed off to another state. I’m proud to say I’ll be their new lawn mate — but I don’t stop there. Upon arrival, I noticed the home was in need of a proper wash, so I offered me pressure washing services as well. And when I saw a weary fence needing some care, me Fix-It skills came into play too.

Captain’s Log: The Devil’s Smoke of Blackbeard

There be few sights on the sea more fearsome than the visage of Edward Teach — the pirate the world came to know as Blackbeard.
It’s said, before battle, he’d weave lengths of slow-burning fuses into his great black beard and light them just as the cannons began to roar. The smoke would roll across his face, sparks dancin’ like embers from Hell itself. Men who saw him swear his eyes glowed through the haze like coals in a storm.

But what most don’t know — it weren’t madness that drove him to it. It was mastery. Blackbeard understood that fear could conquer faster than any blade. He made himself into a specter of terror, so by the time his enemies saw him, half the fight was already won.

They say when the smoke rose from his beard, even the bravest knew the Devil had come to sea that day. ☠️

Pirate fact Friday!! Sorry I missed out on last weeks so this week I will give two, in two different post. These facts will be focused on the notorious pirate Edward Teach or “BlackBeard” himself.

Fact 1: Though men called him a devil, Blackbeard weren’t the mindless butcher the tales make him out to be. He ruled with fear, aye — but not cruelty. The smoke and fire were his armor, the madness his mask. The terror in his eyes did half the fightin’ for him, and he knew it well. Behind all that thunder was a man who understood the minds of men, a captain who could bend a crew to his will without spillin’ a drop of blood. When hard choices came, he’d gather his men close and hear their say — rare as mercy among our kind. And when sickness struck his decks, he didn’t raid for gold or rum — he turned his guns on Charleston itself, blockadin’ the whole damned port ‘til the townsfolk handed over a chest of medicine. No blood spilled, no ships burned — just the sea’s most feared pirate holdin’ a city hostage for the sake of his ailing crew.

As I was messing around trying to do my driveway I had an O ring snap. Luckily I had teflon tape for a quick fix. But that’s where the video ends. Every pirate has their fare share of troubles. Not to worry though. It’s up and running. Message me for quotes.
