It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you that my brother, Tony Fusco, passed away this past weekend in his sleep. Tony was not only my brother, he was also my best friend.
He worked with me at Fusco‘s Cutting Edge for over 30 years. Tony always took such pride in all the work that he had performed. He was such an important part of the business. I remember when I would have other employees ask if they could smoke on the job and I would tell them “no.” They would say “Why is Tony allowed?” and I would laugh and tell them that when you work as hard as him and do the work that he does, I will buy you a pack of ci******es -it has nothing to do with him being my brother, he’s that hard of a worker. He also would never leave a cigarette butt - he would always put the cigarette out and put it in his pocket. I always got a kick out of that.
I’m also going to miss when I would come on the job and he and Punchie would be listening to different types of music throughout the day and they would always try to guess who was singing that song. Sometimes the day started with country or oldies and then maybe would finish out with rock. It is hard to explain the void that will be left behind with his loss.
He is going to be dearly missed by all of our amazing clients. I could honestly say I never had one client throughout the years that didn’t stop me to say good things about him or express how much they loved having him on the job. They absolutely loved how hard he worked and the pride that he took in whatever job he was doing.
As for now, as Tony often said at the end of our evening phone calls - “I love you, brother.” So I would like to say, that I love you, brother, and rest in peace. 💔
With love,
Ken Fusco
