Over time paint tends to dull. Dust, sunlight, scratches from every day life tend to wear down the sheen of the paint. Years go by and you realize you need a refresh. This helps keep the maintenance of your walls and the appearance of your home in pristine condition.
How long has it been since you’ve done an interior refresh of paint?

Paint refresh on a ceiling. Ceilings don’t always look like they need a fresh coat until the paint is on and you see the brightened look. Repaired a small seam to blend in.

Water damage to a basement ceiling. Replaced drywall, stamped to match, and repaint.

Updated this stone with a whitewash finish.
You can see the process in the middle photo.
The existing stone had yellow undertones. We washed over it minimizing the yellow but still allowing the natural stone to come through.
This can be as translucent as one wishes.
