I’ve been BUSY the last couple of weeks!

Thank you so much for your support!

I was contacted by someone who was flipping a house said the yard was bad enough that they would be cited if they couldn’t get it cut in time.

I almost bit off more than I could chew, but I got it done! They’d asked me to simply cut the lawn because they’re redoing the property, but once I saw there was a walkway to what I think was a garden I grabbed my trimmer and cut back as much as I could with limited tools.

I haven’t been on Facebook as much because I’ve been mowing or I’ve been sleeping resting my knees.

I know this isnt much for some folks, but it’s been plenty for me! I’ve been mowing nearly every night after work and my wife has been a trooper with the kids!

I’m tired, but pleased with my efforts and I still get to see the kids before they go to bed!

Three more lawns from the last few days!

I took before and after of lawn #2, but should’ve gotten some before shots of #3! #1 was already in beautiful shape, but I’m going to be keeping it that way going forward.

#3 didn’t have as much growing in the actual grass area, but boy were those edges overgrown! I’m kicking myself for not getting pictures beforehand.

Cleaned up this great, little yard today.

The owner was great too! Super communicative, checked in with me this morning and was really pleasant to work with.

Once I was done, they asked me to come back next week and I’m certainly looking forward to it.

I got a message the other day from someone needing a one-time mow, just to stay on top of things.

The customer said their lawn wasn’t really growing right now since it was so dry, but had a few tall spots. When I arrived I found just a few weeds growing. Still, mowing it never hurts so I got to work.

I took care of their yard, but I found a park strip nearby that they likely weren’t responsible for that had more weeds than their yard.

It only took me a moment, but it helped that spot look a little nicer and I hope the neighborhood appreciated having it done.

How do you pamper your pets? One of my customers has a designated spot in their yard for their dogs to go to the bathroom and there’s even a little fire hydrant! Makes me laugh every time I see it.

I learn something new every time a mow a lawn.

I recently acquired a new-to-me straight-shaft trimmer and it’s awesome, but it’s totallydifferent than the little angled one I’ve had for years before starting Neon Lawn Care.

I’m not the tallest person and so it’s a bit awkward to use already. I’m also getting used to mowing multiple times a week instead of just my own lawn so I’m pretty sore.

I think I finally found an ergonomic sweet spot when I was about 80% of the way through a yard tonight. It’s something so small, but made me so happy!

And as always, if you’re looking for lawn care, I’d love to give you a quote!

P.s. I got to meet the dogs I mentioned last week—the ones who were too nervous to come all the way up to me. Made me miss my sweet golden, but I was one of the highlights of the day for sure!
