El Niño is here! Extra rain and changing weather patterns are in our future. What can you do now to prevent problems and keep your property healthy and safe the rest of the year?
1️⃣ Check for dead or damaged limbs.
These conditions will weaken branches that already have issues.
2️⃣ Watch for leaning trees
Tons of rain makes the soil soft and can damage your roots. If a tree starts to lean, don’t ignore it!
3️⃣ Get a trim
Removing weak and overextended limbs will prevent problems later!
4️⃣ Inspect
Look for fungi, leaf drop, cracks, or discoloration. This can get worse with moisture fluctuations.
5️⃣ Check drainage
If there’s water puddling around your tree, your root health can be at risk.
