I just really wanted to show off my butterfly pea vines tbh.
BPV (in my opinion) is not as easy as most seeds to germinate, but once they get going they do not disappoint! BPV is admired for its beautiful foliage and flowers which can also be used for teas! In the ground, BPV can tolerate temperatures in the low 30s before they die back. NOT TO WORRY! BPV is a tropical perennial and is likely to come back once the temps warm back up! (I’m in San Antonio zones 8/9 💚)

You don’t need a fancy composter or bin set up to make your own nutrient rich compost! I have a super simple setup made out of free pallets (look for the HT, heat treated stamp to make sure they’re chemical free!) This compost is made up of kitchen scraps, pecan leaves/shells, and my bunny’s p**p and litter! Give it a turn or two, water it once in a while, and within a few months, Voilà!
