Be licensed/certified by the state of Texas to work on irrigation systems. This is not necessary but highly recommended for future advancement and growth. Mabry Lawn & Sprinklers will provide paid time off and pay all expenses to become a licensed Irrigation Technician.
At this time Mabry Lawn & Sprinklers is looking to initially bring people on as a contractor and if things work out transition to employment. There are several different pay scales depending on the type of work and skill level.
When performing lawn care/maintenance the pay will range from $9.00 per hour to $12.50 per hour, travel time between jobs will not be paid. Another option would be to get paid a percentage of each lawn mowed, allowing more pay in less time and getting the rest of the day off or picking up extra work and making more money. (This is something that can be discussed and decided up at a later date.)
If you are a helper working on irrigation jobs the pay will start at $15.00 dollars per billable hour and go up as your understanding and knowledge increases.
Licensed Technicians will make $20.00 dollars per billable hour and after a probationary period can be sent out on their own to make up to $40.00 dollars per billable hour.
