It's the weekend! And yes, I said what I said.
Last weekend I had some girlfriends over and had a bin to take down to storage, client products to be used this week, and some other stuff I just didn't feel like dealing with. So in the shower it went! Closed the curtain and no one was the wiser.
It did help that I was forced to deal with it the next day when it was time for a rinse and I would certainly discourage hiding it in an area with all the other "hidden" things that you've been ignoring for months. (And if that room exists in your house, let's chat!🤣)
Apparently my grandmother used to hide things in the oven...

Final project of 2024 is complete! You know I love an Elfa install and this one was my tallest yet! Thankfully my client’s bro was there to help with some drilling at high altitude! 😂
Wish I could say it was time to relax, but IYKYK and now it’s time to focus on creating all the magic for Christmas morning and scramble for some last minute gifts I’ve been to busy to think about🤪😵‍💫 Weeeeee.

As my daughter is with her father this year, I decided to forgo the traditional feast with friends and family to stay in and catch up on work. And while I may later regret missing out on all the deliciousness, I can't help but feel incredibly thankful for the amount of business I have at the moment with multiple projects underway and lined up through the end of the year. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​I am so very thankful for all of my clients that have welcomed me into their homes and trust in me to handle, edit, and organize their personal space.

I'm beyond thankful to my family, friends, and friends that I now consider family; for the incredible support these past few years. Through the dark and difficult journey that is divorce. Through the fear of starting over at age 40. And through the pressure of running a solo business as a single parent.

To be able to sit here today, working alone in my soft pants on Thanksgiving and feel this fulfilled and content, is truly a gift.

To everyone that has supported my business, my personal life, and in many cases both... I am thankful for you.
