Does the red in parenthesis describe the flowers or can these leaves turn red?

I tried to google it and I think itā€™s talking about the leaves but Iā€™ve had this pretty dang close to Barrina T5 lights (3-4 inches away) and itā€™s never turned red for me.

This oneā€™s name is derived from Greek! ā€œSpartā€ refers to the Greek word ā€œspartosā€, meaning broom and the ending or suffix ā€œ-iodesā€ means resembling or similar too.

Iā€™ve always been interested in other languages. I speak English, Tagalog and Spanish. I never knew Iā€™d learn more because of plants!

I cried while editing thisā€¦ watching it all come apart in reverse doesnā€™t feel real. Maybe itā€™s the hormones, maybe itā€™s just the weight of change, but this one hit the hardest. Letting go of something I poured 3 years into isnā€™t easy.

This plant closet was more than just a space. It carried me through postpartum anxiety and depression. It gave me purpose on the days I felt lost. These plants didnā€™t just fill a room, it helped me find myself, become a mother, a better wife, and a way stronger version of myself.

So yes, Iā€™m sad. But Iā€™m also super grateful because this isnā€™t the end of my journey, itā€™s just a transition.

I may not have this plant closet anymore, but a new space is waiting for me in August. It feels far away right now, but I know how quickly time movesā€¦ and when it comes, Iā€™ll build something even more meaningful.

Growth doesnā€™t stop just because the space changes.

I had to cut it up after this because it wasnā€™t doing too well though. No worries because I had already taken cuttings 2 weeks ago and theyā€™re already rooted :)

Always have a back up of your plants!
