I often get asked "What do with my leftover paint?" Well you can do several things:

if it has labels you can dropoff at: https://www.sandiego.gov/environmental-services/ep/hazardous/paint

if you don't have labels on latex paint you can get a paint hardener at Home Depot - dry it out and throw in trash.

Or if it doesn't have labels and you don't know what kind of paint you can make an appt with: https://getitdone.sandiego.gov/HazmatNewReportPage
